Meet Hayley Bartlett:

As a Management Assistant, Hayley is responsible for writing rental contracts, inspecting rentals, sanitizing and preparing vehicles for rent, and answering customer inquiries. “Every day is a little bit different, but the main focus is working with customers throughout the day,” she shares. She also works with body shops and car dealerships when they’re seeking out rentals for their customers.

The Journey to Enterprise’s Management Trainee Position

We asked Hayley to guide us through her journey toward getting her position at Enterprise. “I graduated with a Psychology degree while working as a professional cook. I eventually went into Property Management but was looking for a career with strong employee development.” Upon seeing a job posting for the Management Trainee role with Enterprise, Hayley applied online. “Within 2 days, I received contact from the recruitment team and was scheduled for a phone call for a preliminary interview. They then contacted me for a Teams interview with the group and area managers. After that, I had a branch observation. This process all happened in the span of one week. Once my pre-employment screens were completed, I was formally offered the Management Trainee position.”

A Culture of Growth and Support

Hayley’s experience in the Management Trainee Program highlighted a key aspect of the culture at Enterprise– a commitment to career development and support.  “What drew me into Enterprise was the positive and supportive work culture. Everyone in management began as a Management Trainee, which is very hopeful and realistic for anyone in the program. It really shows that you can connect with many people you meet throughout your time as they have walked in your shoes in some ways.”

Advancement opportunities at Enterprise come quickly for hardworking and ambitious employees, as Hayley’s career demonstrates. “I successfully completed the Management Qualification Interview within 7 months. I have never worked for a company that has cared so much about helping its employees grow. I have met many people who have aimed to help their teammates on promotions and overcome professional obstacles.”
